He leaves. He's being deported on Tuesday. Sure, I didn't know if I still wanted to go out with him but I certainly didn't want him to go. I will miss him so much. This is not how I wanted this to end. He made an honest mistake, got the dates messed up in his passport and over-stayed his visa by 3 days. Just 3 days and they're deporting him. It

Sorry that I missed this post, wasn't much on LJ over the past days. I'm terribly sorry for your lost, that is indeed a very crappy ending. :(

It's probably because of the terrorism paranoia as you said, but he'll surely be able to get a new VISA at some point later on isn't it?

thank you so much for your kind words, my friend. it has now been almost 2 weeks since he left and life still feels strange. I miss him, yes, but I am not sad. He has already realised that perhaps he is supposed to be back there to tend to unfinished business. I guess the universe has a way of working things out for us.

You'll probably feel strange for many days to come still. But it's "good" if you don't feel sad. Although it's revealing in itself, it means that you're doing well overall, which is the most important thing. ^^
