The theme this week is "arrival." It reminded me of going to work every day and doing the same old things in the same old comfortable building, so I wrote this story about routine.

Oh man! Great ending. Very Twilight-Zoneish. ^__^ You really get a feel for how utterly ingrained the routine is, day after day after year, and that he's one of those people who doesn't much like changes. Well done.

glad you liked it! lol, I've been at the same job for 10 years so that's what gave me the idea...the sameness of everything, and the delight in little things like "ooh, bagels!" I felt sorry for him after I wrote this because I realized he wouldn't get to eat the breakfast. :D
