 I have an idea.

And thus far I like it.
But I don't know for certain yet.

So I'd appreciate opinions [:

I was thinking of tattooing the village name of where most of my mum's side of my family lives,
because that's where my great auntie lived, and that way it'll be a tattoo for everyone on that side of the family.

It'll be much nicer than having one

Hmmm that's a good idea to stop you looking like a graffitied wall! lol. A picture around the name of the villiage would be nice; like roses winding round the italic calligraphy letters or stars dotted around it or a cat next to it or another flower/ butterfly design.

It would look prettier than just writing?

I was thinking calligraphy writing like in the picture [link below] just not that extreme.
I agree it would look a bit dull without it, maybe I could put a background that's related to the town, and/or like you said butterflies or flowers [:

Nice calligraphy! Better than plain text. You've gotta have a bit of decoration on you if you wanna get tattooed! :P

I think at first I'll just get the writing, and then when that's healed and I know for sure what background I'd like, I'll get that [:

I was thinking my thigh would be an option also, now I can't decide, foot or thigh [like a few inches above the knee not too high] ?
