It's been 5 days since I got an email from my professor in charge of my regions field placements telling me that I do in fact have a preceptor, but that we don't have the OK to contact them and set up shifts to ride out

Well, I wanted the go ahead to contact my preceptor, and less than an hour after the last post I got it. Now I have to wait for my preceptor to get back to me with his schedule before I can start.
