From what she saw of him, she's obviously guessed he's a survivor type. His willingness to accept new people, and his openness, confuses her a bit. She's noted that he's got his own distinct responsibilities, and appreciates the time he put in.
Becky seems alarmingly idealistic, which is something Hunnigan learned to keep under control pretty quickly. However, Becky has gotten through the sort of long-term stress that most people crack under, and Hunnigan's willing to trust her judgement and let her work--so long as she doesn't appear to be endangering the rest of them.
Hunnigan is really just as happy Claire's got no interest in helping the government; too loose-cannon. She's settled down quite a bit now that she's had time to observe everyone, and views Claire as far less of a possible problem.
She would actually still like to keep her distance a little, partially just for that aspect, partially because Claire seems not so willing to approach her. And, should Leon ever look, the Claire Redfield of his earth's file is open access to him.
Leon's independent streak has been bumped up several notches by the Nexus. Hunnigan respects and likes him, but she's hoping he's watching where he's going. Her biggest fear is that he's going to do something drastic without considering all angles.
She's still not clear on why Salazar was hidden from her, but she hasn't confronted Leon partially because she wanted to see if he thought he'd misstepped in not telling her. (She's waiting, watching to see what everyone's position is on Salazar. She's well aware of her lack of authority besides what people give her.) Her trust wasn't much damaged, but she's a little less sure of his judgement in diplomatic situations.
