It was dark. Almost too dark to see, but there was just enough light that Kaoru could barely make out where he was going as he ran through the halls of the Hitachiin mansion. No matter how fast he ran, Hikaru only seemed to get farther away, not noticing his twin or hearing him calling his name. At the end of the hall Hikaru finally stopped, but when Kaoru was finally close enough to reach out and grab his brother's hand, the slightly older boy vanished, leaving him all alone in the dark.
[Kaoru stares up at the ceiling for a few moments before rolling back over and trying to get back to sleep, oblivious to the fact that his dream was recorded.]
