HITACHIIN HIKARU

Kaoru's identical twin. ♥ They used to be entirely inseparable, practically indistinguishable from one another. That may not be the case any more, but it's still unusual to see one twin without the other. Kaoru loves Hikaru more than anyone or anything else, and would readily sacrifice his own happiness for that of his brother.
FUJIOKA HARUHI

Kaoru's first love. Haruhi was the first person to enter into the twins' world, and after Hikaru, she is defintely the most important person in Kaoru's life. Having Haruhi around has helped the twins to both grow as their own people, even though Haruhi herself doesn't even seem to realize it at times. Kaoru isn't really in love with her any more, after letting Hikaru have a chance with the girl, but she is still his nearest and dearest friend.
SUOH TAMAKI

The first person to try and enter the twins' world. He may not have been as successful as Haruhi, but Kaoru still holds a lot of respect for Tono. Kaoru still finds pestering Tamaki to be a fun pasttime, but he's really come to see the older boy as a good friend. When it comes down to it, he really does want what's best for Tono, and would help him accomplish just about anything- with the proper amount of teasing, of course.
NEKOZAWA UMEHITO

A creepy upper-classman. Kaoru doesn't really know Nekozawa-senpai too well. Most of their interactions involve Kaoru poking fun at him and trying to make him go into the light, but he also doesn't seem to particularly mind having Nekozawa around. He has been helpful in the past, and he's one of the only people outside of the host club that Kaoru really ever talked with.

Little Miss Alice. Kaoru thinks Alice is a very sweet girl, and she's one of the only people he can't bring himself to prank. That doesn't mean she's immune to little bits of teasing, especially if it's somehow at Tamaki's expense, but she's just too innocent to really do anything to. She's been nothing but kind to him, and Kaoru does enjoy talking to her.
ICHIJOU TAKUMA

Tono's not!twin. Kaoru is still surprised at how similar Takuma and Tamaki act to one another, although he isn't really too surprised at the fact that they practically treat each other like family. He gets along pretty well with Takuma, although he's still waiting for the perfect chance to really mess with him. He's sure it'll be as hilarious as it is with Tamaki.
FAY FLUORITE

A twin, without his twin. They may have only talked once, but Kaoru still likes Fay. He's one of the only people who really seemed to understand what Kaoru was going through without Hikaru around, and he really appreciated the chance to talk about it.
IRIE SHOUICHI

Fun to mess with. Shouichi reacts well, and that's always a plus to Kaoru. He doesn't actually mind more serious conversation with him, either, but it isn't likely he'll consider him a friend any time soon. He just likes playing around.
