Almost catastrophe.

Working as this editorial assistant chappy involves sending lots and lots of e-mail to academics. This involves, as you can probably imagine, dumping lots of templated data into e-mails and changing the odd name/paper number.

Took a break, replied to a post by doctor_frank, started work again, obviously didn't hit cntrl&c when I thought ( Read more... )

Dr Fancy?! That is a name that has 'serious scientist' ingrained into it. Or could perhaps be used to launch a line of small iced cakes..

I have similar issues with my job actually, lots of mail merge correspondence and if I'm not careful....

It's hell isn't it! I am a man who normally relies on spell checkers and an understanding reader to get the message across. Also a problem: changing the auto signature to something funny to send an email to some friends last thing at night, and forgetting to change it back before you leave.

Ah, I've learned so much so quickly..
