I know I will probably get shouted down for this not by me you won't! I think his music/dance etc. was boring. And I have heard that he had a deeply disturbing childhood; the result (in terms of what he did to himself) was certainly disturbing.

I dont mind them, tbh, although I'm not a massive fan on their tunes. I do think the older they've got, the more pretentious they've got.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only one. To say that I don't get Michael Jackson would be to vastly underestimate the situation.

Definitely not the only one. Though sometimes it feels like it. (If one more otherwise demonstrably sane person tells me what a genius Jackson is, I shall not be responsible for my reaction.)

Weeell I must admit I liked very little Michael Jackson, and some of the Jackson 5 stuff, but then I love that kind of music, seventies soul etc. After he grew up he was just sad - disturbing and probably disturbed. Although again I must admit I liked his dancing... I've spent bloody years trying to moonwalk *g*

Completely agree with you about Michael Jackson. Have never been able to see what all the fuss was about.
