The ghost town was surprisingly like the movies: desolate, dark, and oddly cold. And, also like the movies, they ignored the eeriness emanating from the place and continued on anyway.
Unlike the movies, though, when they tripped over the body of a man who had been bludgeoned to death, they didn’t stop to ask questions or attempt to figure out what horrors had taken place there. Instead, they spun on their heels, ran out the door, and sped away down the dirt road away from the ghost town.
But that doesn’t leave much of a story to tell, does it?
