I've been interested in participating in LJ Idol before, but I've always been too afraid. Now don't get me wrong, I'm still absolutely terrified, but I'm beginning to feel more fearful of the things I continue to want to do yet still avoid

I’m feeling super intimidated, both in terms of writing ability and number of friends since some weeks voting is public, though.

But I need to do something for me. Hopefully this ends up more fun and/or productive than just another thing to be stressed about.
