I think describing Dean is a mix of hysterical woman and “slightly incapacitated” warrior is spot on. Glad to know that coughing up blood is something Dean takes seriously. I'm a little surprised the hospital didn't want to admit him.

Thank you!

The hospital probably did want to admit him, but I think Dean is still a little too lucid to put up with that.

Very cute ending to this 'verse. I didn't expect anything after the last one but now I'm happy that you did write more. This was just all around too adorable to read, even if Dean was coughing up a lung throughout most of it. Also, that quote at the end was perfect for the overall theme of this series and made for a perfect ending.

Wow, you know you don't visit livejournal all that often anymore when you spend way too long looking for a KUDOS button that doesn't exists, lol! ;)

I don't even read SPN fic all that much anymore, let alone GEN SPN fic, so I'm not even totally sure how I ended up here...other than I had a craving for some good ole Dean hurt/comfort and yours was the first fic I came across at Hoodie Time under the fever tag.

That said...this was exactly what I was looking for and hoping to find. Lots and lots of h/c with caring Sam and you hit the exact emotional note I was craving.

Great job! I'm glad you continued and I'm glad I found my way here to read it.
