That was so well described that I felt like I was there. And KNOWING tyler, you almost could have asked him to slip on a nice nightgown and go strolling along 6th Ave.
And I fully support this experiment. Also--I tried to get my husband to watch the Anne Hathaway flick, "Becoming Jane" and was met with such vigorous opposition that eventually I caved, and we turned the movie off after 20 minutes.
PS> Can we go to the insane asylum tomorrow night?
We can go to the insane asylum if: a.) you bring your man, and b.) I don't have to drive from San Fransisco and back. I may be the Chauffeur, but I'm not that good. =)
Slaughterhouse Five was good, but Kurt Vonnegut's real jewels are Hocus Pocus and Cat's Cradle. If you don't like Slaughterhouse, I would encourage you to read one or both of those; if you do like Slaughterhouse, then you probably won't need much encouragement to read those. Either way, I heartily recommend them as deeply philosophical, keenly insightful and highly entertaining literature.
