Recently, I've decided to re-imserse myself into anime/manga. Well, imerse exaggerates somewhat, but you get the point.

I bought Eva Manga 1,5 and 6 to complete my collection of the Volumes released so far. Also, I got the first volume of the Initial D manga. The second one is out, although it does not seem to be in. I really need it though.

Here's how I had the story described to me way back in the day when I first saw the fansubbed anime:

The faster driver on Mt. Akina is a tofu delivery guy.

Sound interesting? It is awesome.

The idea is simple, but it can be funny and dramatic. It's strange, but even though you're just reading and looking at pictures, Initial D manages to make the reader anticipate the races, and get into them to discover the outcome. I read the first volume all in one sitting - that's how addicting it is.

I recommend it Hero. As well as the anime, because it features awesome "move" (techno J-pop) music. The fansubs are out there, and Tokyopop is handling the domestic release.
