i was watching the last half of 60 minutes tonight at work...and can i just say how absolutely sick it is that people think it's funny when they pay bums to fight each other. more sick is how people take that, and decide that it'll be funny/cool to go make their own video...not just of bums fighting, but them beating the bums with bats or 2x4's or ( Read more... )

And yet people still like to believe the humans are basically good. Or everyone has some moral fiber that doesn't make them completely evil. How can anyone say anything about this world is good.

but some people like to make the argument that if we are created in God's image, and God is good, then we are good too...but they forget to take into account the fact that we are only an "image", not God, and then there was that one part about how we disobeyed and sinned and whatnot.

i can admit that my desires aren't always good. and i doubt that many people, if any, can claim they always think about/desire what is good. but what is good can also be a debate. opinions differ between people.
