Choosing a Musical Instrument

Interesting. Orchestra2001's layout usually has the percussion right behind the violas, with the violins being the farthest away. Maybe she should work on being a switch-hitter...

Distance from the percussion section is a perfectly valid criterion, but I would feel remiss if I didn't point out that the clarinets often sit directly in front of the trumpets, so do keep that in mind.
