Some husbands rape their wives. So who's for a total ban on sex?

Never!!! It's the best form of stress relief *eyebrows*

As to smacking your kids, here in the States we call it spanking, I'm all for it. I know many say they're against it but you have never had a monster like me for a child. Rude, obnoxious, daring and unintimidated by talk. Yet when Step-Dad said "Stop it or else the belt!" I knew he meant it. Mind you I was never abused but a good spanking got my attention than boring old time out. I secretly plotted ways of revenge for time outs, boring me brought out my Evil side...

Still discipline is not a 4 letter word and for young children, spankings can help, a better cure for ADD than any drug I'll tell you right now.

So come on parents, get out your belts and remind your pre-teens and younger just exactly who's in charge of the House and when Mommy/Daddy say "Put your dishes up." or "Do your homework" they mean it or else it's the...

Definately pro-spanking here as well. Young children simply cannot use logic to work out whether a thing is wrong or not, but a sharp slap tells them. My mother would hit us, whilst my dad would lecture. And whilst it was a terrible thing to get lectured by dad, it was mum and the rod of doom that instilled right and wrong into us.

I was once driven insane by a very posh couple on a train from London to Manchester, and their three children. Sebastian, Nathan and Ethan. The boys were causing merry hell on the coach and their parents could only muster a... "Sebastian do stop hitting Ethan". It was very obvious that these parents didn't care what their children were doing. Had it been my family we would have all been spanked and told to sit down. And frankly, we would have. But what reason did that couple's children have to believe that what they were doing was a) wrong or b)disrespectful for the other people on the train.

oh and yay for being an Auntie again. There is a lot to be said to having the kids as close together as possible. You also know that if you move back to the UK that you've got a friend of... roughly your own age in Lancashire ;)

***you will end up with a generation of children who are undisciplined, have no respect for others, and have no sense of self-worth at all because their parents have not known how to discipline them***
Have you been in a school in the UK recently or read my journal!! This is exactly what we do have and we have it because the cane has been out lawed. Pysical punishment is the only way baby!!

Glad to hear that Xavi's scratch is doing better.
About the nauseous, i would put it down to tiredness but if u are still like this over the next week - check it out, could be food or baby?. After all, all forms of contraception are not 100%, same goes for breastfeeding ... i've known people who have babies while on both. hhehee ;) so maybe & maybe not...
& yes i'm definitely for physical discipline where needed - after all, spare the rod & spoil the child - right?
