"Oh, those." Parker tries to remember how that got started, and frowns. "I think-- I think we started it with Malfoy? Because of something he was looking for. I can't remember what, that was Frasier's call. And Belthazor," her lips tighten, "was in here while Janet was... ill, and checked out something from Special Collections that was probably a bad idea. Curses, and soul vaults, and she wouldn't have let him leave with it if she'd been in her right mind ... herself."
Trust me, I have no objections to making sure that the scary books don't end up in the hands of the scary students. But *I* have to be responsible for why they are being prohibitied.
Right. So this is what I want you to do. We need to get together a log of everyone who uses Special Collections, and keep it up to date from this point on. And I need a list of all students who are denied access to Special Collections and the reason for that denial, so I can amend it as needed. Is this understood?
Parker grimaces. "Yes, Dr. Pierson." She's going to have to backtrack those check-out records. And the history records. Oy. But Dr. Pierson does *not* look like he's looking for a discussion on this.
Not a damned thing since we closed it off. Thank God. I was about ready to start letting blood from everyone who was trying to get a book out by claiming they needed it for a teacher.

Great. Fantastic. Apparently, it didn't take Angelus very long to get to Prof. Jerusalem. Whiny wanker.
