Liz backed quickly away when she heard the last question. Her? Standing in front of the class to draw something? The shy girl nearly died from embarrassment at that thought.

Besides, she had no idea actually what Professor Kaiou meant with scribbles. Before she got on this school, she had never touched a pencil before - except to write lists for shopping and that kind of things. Liz had this feeling she had to go to the blackboard anyway, but she preferred to see first what she had to do.

Michiru noticed confusion joining Liz's usually shy expression. "Do you have a question Liz? It's all right to ask," she said gently, giving the girl a reassuring smile.

Her face turned red at that and stuttered, "It's... it's just... I don't understand what... what you mean w-with s-scribbles, Professor." Liz made herself even smaller at the surprised looks of some of her classmates as well as the soft giggling. She made a fool of herself again.

Michiru arched an eyebrow at the giggling students. "Class. You will do well to remember that we are here to learn. There are things you all will not know. I hope that you all will develop the same courage that Liz has demonstrated."

She turned to Liz with a kind look. "How about this, why don't you and I do be the first ones? I think showing you would be easier than trying to explain it." Michiru held out a hand to the girl with a reassuring smile.
