My American professor at the university in France where I'm studying abroad this year was talking about a literary text to do with Hiroshima. He was talking about focalisation (whether the text has the viewpoint of one character, several or an omniscient narrator etc.) and explaining that the character could -know- the others were in pain by seeing ( Read more... )

Ahhhh I studied at Nancy 2 on my year abroad from the UK! I was in the Fac de Droit though :)

Ooh :). Did you like it? I have a couple friends at the Fac de Droit but yeah, as you guessed, I'm at the Fac de Lettres. What were your favourite things about Nancy? :P

Yeah I liked it, some of the Profs were really good :) We used to enjoy the student Wednesdays at the Cameo cinema, a bunch of us foreign students would go have dinner at Pomme de Pain on the main street, go to the cinema and then for a drink at Café Hemingway as our standard evening out, I really miss it!
