Shakespeare and hedgehogs

 English lectures, stupidly early on a Wednesday morning. We were reading Shakespeare’s The Tempest and discussing it in relation to ecocriticism. All of us, knackered, bored, and then Kevin (lecturer, remarkably direct) comes out with:

“Prospero’s fighting a war with hedgehogs!”

Cue the lecture going “What?!” It certainly made it a little more
