If it ever goes off I will try to get a recording. It is very unlikely I will hang around long enough though. I can't stand loud noises.

Also, personally, I think nothing can be more annoying than the fire alarm in this building. It actually speaks. In the most obnoxious, patronizing, way too happy, smug, arrogant sort of voice.

Does it say "smoke, evacuate"? Mine does and it is the most obnoxious thing in the world. Especially if it's going off for a full hour.

If I remember correctly (I've only heard it once) it says "Warning. There is a fire in the building. Please evacuate the premises quickly and calmly." But the way it says it just grates on my nerves. He (because it's a guy's voice) just sounds too...upbeat about there being a fire. And I can hear a smirk in his voice too.

Ugh, I hate Blackboard! I don't mind some things being online, but having to constantly check it and know everything about it is so annoying! Even this environmentalist wishes teachers would pass out more things on paper.

I do have a good story though. We were supposed to do a reading on Blackboard, and since it was so long it would have really bothered my eyes after a while. But, the next class, the teacher just handed us all the packets anyway. :)
