This will probably inevitably contain some spoilers, though I will try very hard not to ruin anything. I didn't give away the ending.  Feel free if you don't want to go or are just curious ( Read more... )

The Boss-Level antagonist was scary, apart from the stupid smile she kept irregardless of the context. I don't recall any wailing kids at the two showings I attended.

Heh, I misheard the name as Flash Century. X^D What bugs me about this "love interest" is that he's human (or pastel-coloured human type anthropoid). What I mean is that Twilight Sparkle is a pony, falling for something way out of her species. It's like having a crush on ET... or Thor from Stargate, or that flying dog-thing in The Neverending Story, after only one day on planet ET. 9_9 Otherwise, falls for bright, athletic guitar player might not be too far fetched -- Twilight's (instant) brother is the captain of the guard in Canterlot ( ... )

Haven't seen it yet, but that middle portion....were this a Mattel series, I'd totally be putting Canterlot High as one of the many schools alongside Everafter High and Monster High. since odd things happen like that all the time there, I'd explain it that way. but since it's not...IDK.

by the way...Cleo really isn't mean. and I think the student body can sense that. They just get tired of her melodramatics. She can be snotty, but over all she's very nice, generous even. She's like a haughtier Rarity. I mean, she used her servants to get her best firend a one of kind comic book, just because. she may be spoiled as all hell (what do you expect from the daughter of the Mummy?), but she's a lot nicer than she appears and she DOES get her comeuppance when she does get a tad over zealous.

Thanks! I've only seen a few episodes of Monster High--the pilot and one of the full arcs about Jackson & Hyde and one about Operetta, and a few stand alone webisodes. It was enough so that I got that it wasn't my personal dish, but I don't quite think it's fair to bash stuff you've never even looked at. I haven't seen anything where Cleo wasn't awful, and that's the way she's described in the theme song too, isn't it? "Even though you act so vile." So I had no idea that she wasn't 100% pure evil.

Yeah, I wouldn't have moved heaven and earth to see Equestria Girls, but it was sort of cute and fun.

This episode is my all time favorite of Monster High. It shows that Cleo, conceited, spoiled, and melodramatic that she is, has a good heart underneath her wraps.

Plus, Ghoulia is just plain awesome.

even if it's not your cup of tea, this one episode is really good.

Watched it! Probably I'm not going to be a giant fan, but it definitely made me laugh.
