I noticed the same things you mentioned in the second paragraph. I expected more from Twilight, especially as she is a Princess now :D It was like they tried tossqueeze all the ponies in and couldn’t come up with anything more imaginative for AJ, Rarity and Twilight to do. What WAS with those uniforms?

I don't know! They looked awfully non-aerodynamic to me. Even if Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps were flying at top speed (for them), the outfits would slow them down. But maybe it was worth it for BB's giggling as they put flowers in his mane. Kind of like an older brother saying, "sure, go ahead and put your Tinkerbell makeup on me. It's funny." I'm beginning to like him.

I'm glad other people are noticing those glittering objects and the contexts in which they're being given them! Personally, I expect them to turn out to be the Keys.
