Fortunately, the fuzzballs aren't super accurate...

She tries to escape the area, but they're heading her off at every turn!

The blue and green rangers, though, seem to be absent.
Daiyousei wonders why a human is going out of her way to save a fairy.

A problem, since the bonus condition is to leave the map with an average HP of 75% or higher...
...but it's a problem with a readily available solution!
Despite her weaknesses, Daiyousei is an indispensable party member, because she has the ability to heal adjacent allies!
She'll do her share of fighting during the enemy phase, then leave the heavy lifting to Marisa.
Unfortunately, her healing ability can't be used on herself.
Trust can, though!

Nitori understands the situation instantly. She won't forgive those who prey on the weak!
Anyway, now that my full party is here, this is more or less a massacre.

Now that that's cleared up, we can talk! Looks like she was searching for her friend. Not because she was lost, but because they were playing hide and seek, because they are fairies.

In exchange for safe passage, Daiyousei agrees to guide our heroes to the lake!

STAGE 5 CLEAR
The mist is thick here. Easy to get lost!
Fortunately, Daiyousei knows the way by heart.
Introductions all around!
A bit overwhelmed at all these humans and youkai giving her their names, she asks them to just call her Daiyousei ('greater fairy').
The 'greater' in there, as Alice observes, implies she's stronger than your typical fairy. Makes sense, since she just held her own in a danmaku battle.
But compared to her friend Cirno...
It's settled! We're off to reunite Daiyousei with her BFF, the strongest fairy of the lake!
While she lacks Nitori's hot-blooded heroism, Alice assures Daiyousei that while yes, she is a youkai, she doesn't intend to eat her or anything.
When Nitori acts jealous of Daiyousei's badass name, Marisa suggests she go by Dai-Nitori to even the odds.
Nitori prefers Sniper Nitori, or maybe Full Armor Nitori.
Faffing aside, looks like we're at the lake!
