Meiling reports that, Patchouli and Sakuya having done their jobs, Flandre didn't get out of the mansion.
Patchouli reports in!
Reimu says she beat Flandre, although it was a pain in the ass.
Remilia is alarmed to learn that Flan is out of the basement, and currently taking a bath.
Remi is not on board with this whole "not sealing Flandre" plan! But Marisa has a question for her.
We managed to deal with her well enough. Isn't it a little cold to lock away your own kid sister?
Not content to listen to a bunch of outsiders on this issue, Remilia orders Patchouli to begin preparations for the next seal. She seems pissed.
No matter what, it seems like we can't get through to her.
With Remilia out of the room, Patchouli decides that it's okay to tell us the real reason that Flandre was sealed away.
Sure, her ability is dangerous. But that's not what they were afraid of.
Remilia was afraid that, in the outside world, Flandre would hurt herself.
It's not a simple matter of just asking her, either. Flan doesn't understand any of this, so Remilia had to seal her away for her own protection.
Patchouli will try to talk to Remi about all this. In the meantime, it's about time for all of us to head home...
Remilia's room!
Sakuya reports that she's done seeing to Flandre. Remilia is pleased that the new seal was erected so--
Oh hey look who it is.
Everyone seems to be in high spirits!
Flan wanted to talk to her sister finally.
Everyone is in high spirits, I should specify, except for Remilia, who orders Flan returned to her room.
Why, sister? Am I a monster? Would it be better if I didn't exist?
Sister, look at me! I wanted to meet you for so long, I have so much to ask you...

Once Sakuya's escorted Flandre away, Remilia quietly asks for her forgiveness.
Yuka, it turns out, was here too.
Yuka says that Remilia's awkward at heart, and keeps Flandre at arm's reach because she's afraid to touch her.
Remilia says that Yuka doesn't know shit about this family, so she should shut the hell up. Yuka complies, with a touch of pity.
Remi wants a status report on the new seal!
Patchouli asks if this is really okay. Remilia says that it's for her own good, that there's no other way.
After meeting Reimu and Marisa, Flandre started to show some interest in humans. Patchouli thinks it's possible that things are different now...
Remilia calls her naive, but Patchouli points out that Remi is the only one in the SDM still opposing this. Remilia cautiously admits that this, too, may be some sort of fate, and orders Patchouli to make preparations accordingly.
Gensokyo really has come a long way...
Day ... / Month ...
Another day of clear skies. A peaceful day with the sun shining brightly, although summer is turning to autumn.
This summer, the Scarlet Mist Incident that we resolved...
One more important chapter in Gensokyo's long history, with many humans and youkai joining hands.
But while Reimu and her friends fend off the threats to this land,
the village continues to be blessed with lively, peaceful days.
I was drawn into the events of this incident's resolution myself, and was able to meet many youkai, some of whom may become friends of mine.
The interactions between humans and youkai don't have to be just restricted to incidents... so I've come to believe.
Even as a wielder of the power of perfect memory, I can't begin to guess what awaits in the future. But, finding that out is the joy of being alive.
Until then, I will lose myself in the wonderful day to day life of Gensokyo.
So life continues as usual in the human village.
Cirno is playing Red Light Green Light with her fairy friends!
With spell cards, because she is a jerk.
Daiyousei shows up, and Cirno insists that since it's Daiyousei, they have to be on the same team, so they'll be 'it' together!
So life continues as usual at the misty lake.
In a forest somewhere! Keine is looking for someone.
Fujiwara no Mokou

Mokou says that Keine doesn't need to come check up on her if she's busy. It's not like she needs any...
Bullshit, says Keine, you're going to eat and sleep properly. Who cares if you'll die or not.
So life continues as usual in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost.
Somewhere else! Youmu calls for her mistress.
Yuyuko Saigyouji

Disposition: ???
Youmu reports regretfully that she couldn't find anything on the subject of the blooming of the unblossoming flower.
Yuyuko seems to be fine with this, confident that the answer will reveal itself with the turning of the seasons..
So life continues as usual, even where nothing is living.
Alice is writing another letter to her mother! She relates the story of her involvement in a recent incident.
What with meeting a certain flower youkai, it wasn't all good, but... she isn't worried.
Summer is ending soon, and a peaceful fall will give way to a peaceful winter as the world keeps turning...

The fairies are plotting!
After surviving the vampire's incident, Sunny is all fired up about planning her own dreadful incident. Star thinks that the dreadful thing is this storm. The wind threatens to blow down their awesome treehouse.
Rumia crashes into their tree! She's drunk.
Luna invites her in to join them for dinner.
So life continues as usual in the Forest of Magic.
Kurumi is hanging out at the library!
She needs a book for Yuka to read before going to sleep. Koakuma suggests "East Side Story", Kurumi says nah, something with more demon guys conquering the world.
So life continues as usual in the Great Library.
Outside! Meiling's on a nice and easy guard shift. Takin' it easy.
Sakuya! She's here not to scold Meiling, but to bring her some of the extra dinner she made.
Yuka and Elly are here, too! Rambling on about a flower that only blooms one night each lunar cycle or something.
So life continues as usual at the Scarlet Gate.
Inside, Remilia and Patchouli chat! Remilia's gearing up to visit the shrine again, because she's bored.
Flandre is here, too! She wants to try and find the dining hall by herself.
She's way more chilled out and casual now!
She doesn't want to live in a house where she can't even find the dining room, so she refuses help.
So life continues as usual in the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
Kanako is giving a speech before the many youkai of the mountain!
Along with Sanae, she implores the youkai to grand them the faith their shrine needs to flourish.
Aya is taking pictures like crazy and talking about the new scoop!
Momiji is reminded of her battle against the humans below. Reimu and Marisa... some day, she'll return the punishment she was dealt by them!
And off on the sidelines, Suwako watches the proceedings with enthusiasm. She can't wait to see how Kanako's master plan will unfold...
So life continues as usual on Youkai Mountain.
And finally, at the Hakurei Shrine, Reimu and Marisa chat about nothing whatsoever.
Marisa is still carrying her pet fuzzball around.
Yukari and Ran are here! Yukari was most pleased to see the trial run of the Spell Card Rules in action.
She wishes Reimu luck in dealing with the next incident, and the one after that.
So life continues as usual at the Hakurei Shrine.
