I couldn't help but be nervous on my first day of classes. I tried my best to be confident as I strode into the green house. There they were all chatty, and friendly. My heart was in my throat ( Read more... )

*standing up, before anyone could get a chance*

If no one else will go, I will. Hello Professor Greenwhich. I am sorry, I will not call you Professor Green. I have a strict self policy to never call people by thier nicknames or shortened versions. Anywho, My name is Gilderoy Lockhart and I am a sixth year HufflePuff. You may be hearing about me VERY soon in Allan Lovegood's newspaper The Journal, or something like that, so look for me! Thanks! *sits back down*

*Stands up and says rather loudly*

I'm Rita Skeeter, 6th year in Ravenclaw. Umm, I don't really know what to say, so I'll just go with I own 4 houses.
What will we be covering this year in Herbology?

Allright Mr. Lockhart, if you insist.

Thanks you for the question Rita.....*hesitates* Should I call you Rita or Ms. Skeeter?

Anyways I'm not sure what you have learned, already, What have you already gone over? I would just hate going over something that you ahve alrady learned. I will eventually go over some of the more exotic plants, The ones that I have raised myself...but thats later.

Please, feel free to call me whatever you wish. Its no worry at all.

We've gone over Dangerous South American Plants and Flora, Identifying plants in native bush and we were about to start on medicinal plants. Exotic plants, sounds like fun.

Ahhhh, I do Enjoy Dangerous Plants, and South America has no shortage, My favorite was always the Pugswillup, It looks so innocent with all of that pink and purple fluff. I thought it WAS when I was little, I decided that it would be fun to play in....My mother had to spray me with Herbicides for a week....You did learn about Pugswillup didn't you?

Anyways, Medicinal plants , right....Those can be slightly boring. But it is necessary and we will continue with it tomorrow

Hello Kingsley, Thank you for stopping by

I'm sorry that you don't have any herbology classes. I'm sure that we will see each other around the castle though.

Oh, How long did it take you to grow the dreads, and why did you decide to cut them?

Well, I understand, That is an awful lot of classes, well, if you need a place to study, I'm not using Green house number 7, seeing as first and second years will both be using green house number 1,

*turns to whole clase*

and that goes for all of you class, I still have to run it by the head master but I'm pretty sure that if I monitor it, any student can study in there.

I know how stuffy it gets inside, I myself can't stand to be inside for too long.
