Stuff I made lately...

Well, obviously, Pete makes most of the food. And... this isn't exactly something I *made,* but check out this strawberry! It was actually round, except the taper at the bottom. It was like a raquetball. And delicious.

I've sowed some tomato seed and peppers and chilies and I'm far to into this whole gardening thing. I think I need to get a job...

How did the plants come in? Tomatoes can be hard to do w/out a proper garden to grow them in, since the roots spread pretty far. My dad has a nice cherry tomato plant in a pot, though.
And yeah, jobs are okay. But only so you can afford to get the good fertilizer and everything. ;)

Also.....
How's foggy old England treating you?

They're still only little. Once it warms up I'm gonna dig up and plant everything in our back garden, but can't afford a shovel at the moment lol.

England's alright. Same as anywhere else I suppose. Just been unemployed and depressed with first birthday without my mom and the whole 1 year mark coming around. But just waiting to here back from some applications... so heres to hoping.

How are you? Can't keep track of you anymore... what's new? :)

Well, it's better to wait on transplanting until they're fairly well established. I usually wait until they get their first or second sets of actual leaves (vs. sprout leaves). Then they should handle transfer much better. And yes, wait until it's warm!

Good luck on job apps. I hate looking for work, but might have to start looking again already. Waitressing right now while going to dental hygiene school, but Bonefish Grill doesn't pay quite as well as I'd hoped. So might try Hard Rock Hotel or someplace like that. We'll see.

Either way, I'm leaving Thursday for a road trip with my sister, nephew, and niece, and couldn't be more excited! (Be prepared for a flood of photos.)

Sorry you're bummed out (not in the brit sense, of course). Hopefully you've been channeling some of that into some art? Hmmmm?

Yeah, isn't that the exercise thing that's sort of like yoga, but harder?

I wish I could give you some gardening tips, but Gardner is just a clever name.

Hahaha, damn. You were my only hope!
Also, do you live in Lake Porter? If so, you have a neighbor w/a very barky dog at 5 am! (2588 Skif Dr.)

Yep, Lake Porter is where I reside. If that dog is the same one that chases me every time I go jogging, then we share a common enemy.

This is a little brown lab-type dog w/a docked tail. Probably in the 40-50 lb range.

Chasing dogs are no fun either. I was so excited that we lucked out having an apartment complex full of people who take care of their dogs, don't really let them bark and mostly even pick up their poo. Never even thought about neighbors *outside* the complex being the nuisance pet owners!

But yeah, I hate getting chased when I'm jogging, especially since I normally have my dog w/ me and that makes the mean dog especially mad.
