So there was this stand-up comic who told a story that went something like this: "I saw this little girl at the shoe store the other day, and she was twirling around in front of a mirror and singing to herself. Her mother came over, gripped her by the arm, and said, 'Relax! Re-lax!' That's not what that word means. How's that girl going to know what that word means? Yeah, it's not that it's a lack of sophistication, it's that I can't do it every week. And it makes things dull and predictable when we do it every week. I don't mind the comfort food-- god knows I have plenty of my own-- but every weekend? Surely we can find something new, you know? And I certainly don't say, "ew, your food is nas-tay." Instead I make an excuse like, "You know, I was really craving an omlette and I just decided to make it myself."

As for thinking... bluh. I don't THINK I'm that spacey. I'm just used to it.
