I am now working with international students at a university in England. Unfortunately, this sort of prejudice is at least as bad here - probably worse, as the country is so small that a huge influx of immigration does cause slight problems in terms of space. Knowing quite a lot about immigration for my job, I get so incredibly frustrated by some of the things that I see in the media or hear down the pub of an evening.
