"You didn't get much sleep, love," he commented without turning around, once he heard Snape stirring.

"I think we'll be able to put his potions in his juice, preferably apple, to mask the taste somewhat," he added softly.

"He still hasn't said anything."

"Well, his hearing is obviously fine," Snape said, reaching out to stroke the boy's dark hair. If he'd ever had a son, he'd imagined his hair being the same color.
"Do you want to try some oatmeal? Can you nod your head yes or no?"
Faolan nodded his head, then leaned against Remus' chest.

Snape laid his hand over Remus', then raised it to his lips, kissing it.
"This sleeping arrange better not go on for too long. I've gotten rather used to having your body near mine."

The very tips of Remus' ears turned pick. Between his 'illness' and recovery, and Faolan, it had been weeks since he and Sev had done more then sleep together in the literal sense of the word. "I would miss you as well. As soon as he's comfortable we'll put him in a room of his own."

"When he wakes up, we'll clean him up and then let him have toys. Everything will be fine," he murmured, already drifting.
