This is the first Clara fanfic I've read and this did not disappoint. You have the Doctor's conflict between wanting and not wanting to know down pat, and the way this story leads into The Crimson Horror is fantastic!

Picturing Jenna making the face I associate with Posh Spice and YES even cuter when I imagine a tiny version doing it.

Of course, just as he’s bending down to untie his boots a second time, Clara bursts out the front doors and runs past him.

“Catch up!” she laughs, sprinting towards the TARDIS, and he races after her.

His instinct is to hold her hair back, but she’s already quite pragmatically tied it up herself. Feeling helpless, he drops down next to her and tries to tame her flyaways anyhow.

I can so picture Matt doing this, and it's so funny and so sweet and back to funny again but sweet all the same.
