Last week I went to a gathering with some friends of mine who I hadn't seen in a while, and I was getting complimented left and right. I seriously just stood there and laughed, because I never know how to react. It's surreal for me, because I never think of myself as the type of person who deserves them!

The actual number is mildly embarrassing,
but judging by the conversation you should be able to figure it out.

I think the fact that I'm:

- a girl
- a teenaged girl
- a teenaged girl who appeared of "normal" weight
- a teenaged girl who appeared of "normal" weight & therefore never "needed" to loose any weight

has a lot to do with it. Or the nurse's perception of what may have happened at least.
