Attention all Livejournal users:
Please go to your account settings and make sure that the box marked "Enable graphic previews on external links within your journal" is not checked. If I see any of these "snap shot" things in a journal, I will not be reading it anymore, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Seriously, I couldn't care less about a bunch of fanfic writers getting their accounts cancelled, but this sort of shit is likely to make me stop using lj.
Yes, snap.com has an option to permanently disable their "service" on all sites. Apparently, their definition of "permanent" is roughly equal to "for a week or so."
