I graduate next week and will say goodbye to the college I've grown to love and think of as my second home (heh, well maybe my first since I hate my real home), but tomorrow will be the last day I ever have my prof again. First of all, I am really sorry that you're hurting and I can fully commiserate with you. His behavior is quite strange and I imagine that if he could take the time to address the other graduating students, he could at least congratulate you when you're dropping these hints. I mean, I don't need a history with someone to congratulate them if I find out they're graduating. Perhaps that is just me, I have even said congratulations to complete strangers I see on campus that are holding their cap and gowns. There can be many reasons why he's being this way... perhaps he's in denial or a total jerk, etc. Whatever the reason may be, I really do hope he gives you the acknowledgement you deserve. *big hug*

ahh I'm sorry : ( I would probably feel hurt too. It could be that he's in denial and is trying to avoid the good-bye. I know how you feel though, I only have about two more weeks of school and then I graduate. It is a very sad feeling

I have to go with thought that he is in denial and this is just his way of dealing with it. Just make sure you drop by his classroom pretty soon after you graduate and thank him for all the years of wonderful teaching he has givien you. I'm sure he will acknowledge you then.
