New Jersey.

I'm not kidding.

The only thing we get is a major snow storm every few years, and you can see that coming. You only get hurt or killed in one of those things by earning a Darwin Award. Even when hurricanes come our way, they are rather deflated and silly. We'll flood an itsy bit, but not what you see. Every natural disaster that comes our way is on a minor scale.

Warm and humid in summer, cold and damp in winter (ok, so that bit sucks), but close to major cities, and still can find rural areas.

Wow. You'd think I work for a New Jersey promotional firm or something...

Toronto, Canada. We have a lake nearby so you can still live near water, but the last time there was a hurricain in Toronto was 1952. Hurricain Helen. And that was like a Cat.2. And a major fluke.

Plus, you get free healthcare! :D

(((hugs)))

Here in Montreal we're more likely to get ice storms or blizzards. And we're in an earthquake zone, although I've never experienced anything big. You've got the French factor here, though.

Sydney is pretty safe, it doesn't even rain here... well it does but well not in any large quantities very often.

And you'll have to do more selling on New Jersey- lol

I want some idealic place where it is beautiful with mountains and a beach and the perfect mix of seasons where you don't get stuck with tons of snow or the ungodly heat we've had- plus the benefit of no natural disasters- not sure if the place exists- but I can always hope... lol

Oh, well ...I can't promise it doesn't rain in Panama, because it does, but we have never had a major earthquake, storm, tornado, or any other natural disaster. It's the geography, they keep telling us. We're not likely to get hit by anything.

Not much cold around here, but it doesn't get as hot as in can get in the US. We have tons of beaches, oh, and mountains too ...up in the mountains it's a little cold. *laughs*

Move here!

Panama- another good option- I've always wanted to vacation around there. Used to try to talk my old boss into paying for an Continueing Education thing offered on a cruise through the Panama Canal-

Hmm- do you suppose I could just run away and start all over?

I guess not-

If nothing else, it's a beautiful vacation trip, and if you can ever make it I can make sure you get to make the transit through the Panama Canal. *grins*

In other words, you're always welcome!
