update on the day

it's hot in new york city.  summer in the city, in fact.  i'm getting drunk on dehydration and sore-legged walking.  in a breaking moment, i got into a cold shower . . . 90 seconds or so later, nicole brought me a mojito and i drank it while letting the water shiver along the back of my neck.  so cool.

Isn't drinking in the shower the greatest! I had an old roomie turn me on to that. We used to paint houses all summer and it felt great to come home and get in the shower with a refreshing drink. I do it all the time now after a long run or bike ride or in the morning before work- oh shit did I just say that out loud.

Did you read that article I sent Haines about drinking in the city?

That drink made my day. Although when I stepped outside for the first time today it made me feel really dunk.
