She stepped off the train, looking for all intents and purposes completely nervous and yet excited at the same time. Her palms were sweaty as she climbed the steps with the other people, hustling and generally living their lives.

She was still dressed in her lab coat and work clothes (she hadn't have time to change after work, they'd been busy beyond belief) but she had with her a bag of clothing and a little makeup. God, she wanted to make the right impression.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she reached the top, her eyes running about the station looking for him. Her breath caught as she spotted him, reading a book. Taking a deep breath she walked over to him, willing herself to calm down; "H-hey..." she said quietly, cursing the fact that she stuttered.

He looked up when she spoke, smiling widely. "Adrienne," he said happily, standing and reaching his hand out. "It's great to meet you face to face. And I was right, you are..." he paused, not wanting to say cute, because she was more than cute. "...Beautiful," he finished, a blush crossing his face.

She found a smile crawling across her face as he smiled, feeling a little weak in the knees. He was even more good looking in the flesh (if that was indeed possible) She took his hand, grasping it firmly and shaking. At his words she blushed deeply, forcing herself to keep eye contact with him.

Her grin also got wider; "T-thank you" she stuttered again before she could catch herself, her heart rate speeding up a little more. "And y-you're..." she really couldn't finish her sentence. "I-I need to get changed...lab coat isn't really the h-height of f-fashion..." she laughed quietly, more than a note of nervousness clouding it.

"You're welcome," he smiled, ignoring the small stutter, "it's true." He blushed a little. She didn't need to finish the sentence for him to understand what she was saying. He grinned a little. "It may not be the height of fashion, but it suits you," he said. "Do you want me to just stay here?" He grinned at her again.
