I just watched this documentary on the Independent Film Channel called Home Movie. It was one of the most fascinating documentaries I've ever watched and I'm really glad I took the time to actually stay tuned in to one show for more than ten minutes. I watched a PBS special a few weeks ago that featured a woman who lived in a house with a giant duck gracing its roof. It reminded me of Old Mother Hubbard.

Hi Marcus. I know we never really talked in school, but I saw that you like owls and the other day, I bought a rather strange, hilarious book about an owl and I thought of you.
It's a children's book in French from the 50's called "Le hibou et la Poussiquette." From what I could gather, an owl and a cat are married by a turkey on the island where the "bong tree" grows with a ring they buy from a pig. I laughed quite a bit.
Anyway, I just thought you might appreciate this bit of owl-related hilarity.

fucker, IFC is my channel. it's my new favorite channel, i'm watching it right now. i've seen home movie, and it's pretty awesome, cept the eople are weird. the girl that was with the electronic house guy, that relationship was funny. crazy cat people and whatnot. anyways, i just thought it's funny that you'd write about it...
