Many dream of such a death. I've known ony one woman who actually was granted that wish. My grand-mother. Her death was a miracle in itself. She died where she wanted , how she wanted and when she wanted!
We just stared dumb founded. She was one fine woman. It's been two years now and I still remember atleast once in a day, one or the other things that she taught me or told me! I'm not exaggerating.
That was the first time when the reality and morbidity of death struck me. It made me respect life even more.. value it even more.
These little incidents in some way prepare you (but never enough) to face the loss of a loved one, to face a person who has lost a loved one(which is even worse, cause there are just no words of consolation)

I've never known someone who has gone the way they wanted, but I'm sure they're rare cases....
I've seen people die in different circumstances.... Seen a friend die in my arms.... I'll carry that image to my grave.... It's something that's changed my perspective on life entirely....
Other things have happened, other near-death experiences.... they've all affected me in some way or another.... Things like this have made me who I am today.
We learn a lot from everything.... even death.
