Luke jolts awake, and while he's not completely aware of what's going on, he's managed to figure out that 1) this is not Mr. Bear 2) he is tied up to this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear and 3) this Ursaring that is not Mr. Bear is now taking him god knows where.
With these three facts, Luke figures this is an appropriate time to panic.]

Instead, the boy tries to figure out how to loosen the ropes - unfortunately for Luke, the more he struggles with it, the more the rope cuts into the Ursaring as well, which only makes the bear angrier.
