Sherman's March to the V(et)

We briefly were housing six cats two weeks ago.  As you know, Wife feeds several neighborhood feral cats (and Mimi Hiss Cat is still holed up in our dressing/guest room -- Oswin wants to fight her, so Wife thinks we'll have to find another home for her).  One of the cats, a black tom with a little white bib, had been limping with a hurt right front

Good on you for getting him to the vet; I'm glad he didn't ghost you!

This is all Wife's doing, and she gets all credit. I just lent a hand (two, actually), keeping the cage pressed to the ground. Wife did all the leg work with the Cat People to get Sherman taken care of. For Wife's sake, I'm glad he didn't hold a grudge.
