So, Tales of Beedle the Bard is actually pretty good. Get it for Dumbledore's commentary (which gives some additional info about the Wizarding World), if nothing else.

I actually thought Beedle was pretty dang good. I like the little moral stories that Rowling was able to come up with to be a supplement to the Potter series. it was sweet. :)

Oh definitely. I love fairy tales, so getting to see some from the Wizarding World was pretty awesome. And then Dumbledore's commmentary made everything even better! I'm glad I finally got a copy.

i totally loved Dumbledore's commentary as well. did you ever read Quidditch Through The Ages or Magical Beasts And Where To Find Them? those were some other supplementary books to the HP series that i really enjoyed..... i would totally love for her to write Hogwarts: A History. it's a shame she hasn't written it before now- she certainly has Hermione mention it enough... i'd even go so far as to say a Hogwarts: A History: Revised Edition, with notes from Editor Hermione Granger, would be even more superbly awesome. :D
