Well, I've had better mornings. Gas engineers landed outside the house and got me out of bed to ask if I could move my car. Oh, and you'll notice both your wing mirrors have been smashed off and are now just hanging by the electric cables. they tore the fence down? Are the Chavs down by you developing super human mutant strength or is there an unprotected source of Gamma Radiation spilling out into the populace?

It wouldn't take much. They're freestanding fencing units, clipped to each other. Get a couple of mates, yank and the whole lot pitches forward.

Used to be quite a decent garage, but it seems there's more money in selling it for housing development. Same thing's happening to the block of engineering units on Mansfield Road (opposite the Yardley Road entrance to the cemetary), which is where I go for any work on my car. Quite where all these new residents are going to buy their petrol or get their cars fixed is beyond me.

There used to be a sign on the fencing, boasting the services of AM:PM Security (it was stolen). Given that the panels were still lying across the pavement this afternoon, maybe they should consider changing the company name.
