Next they can trademark "asshat" and sue anyone who calls them that. I trust this one gets laughed out of court.

My brain had not awakened when I made this comment. Awake, it knows that one trademarks words for a specific use. Thus, these people are merely attempting to trademark Katrina as a word for booze, just as the cigarette paper company that trademarked "1.5" cannot keep it from being used as the answer to an algebra problem.
