First I will wish everyone a Happy New Year, and hope that you had a good holiday. :)

During the past couple of months I have been doing a lot of thinking and unfortunately/ or fortunately as the case may be, have retreated into a bit of a shell.  This has however allowed me to come to some realizations...

You know, I can't imagine you not running either, for as long as I have known you, you've always been running...I won't make the obvious Forrest Gump comparisons ;P

haha! CBC is sponsoring a bunch of people to 'recreate' Terry Fox's run across 1/2 of Canada. (a marathon a day for 143 days)I would have considered applying if I could afford to be away from work for that long. :) Yup! I am officially nuts. lol.

I don't really know what to say to that. I have often wondered where you are and why you aren't 'around' anymore, but just figured that you were busy working, running and moving into your new house. It seems that the further away you go, the more you seem to be running, or is it the other way around?
I miss 'seeing' you around the place mate :(

I am not sure which came first. I use the time running to sort out a lot of things in my head... or just to empty my head in general. Often when I run I think of nothing at all and the problems of the world/my life go away.

But I think I have solved one problem. I have added 300-400 calories/day and I have more energy. Tiredness has kept me from my computer. That and I think I need to go wireless, so that I am not always stuck away from everything else when I am at my comp.

I've gone so far as to actually have it all wrapped, packaged and addressed. But don't hold your breath. Did you get my notice that my yahoo is gone? I miss you!

I did not see that notice. However, since I haven't been on for a good 2 months.... didn't really matter.
