That's exactly why I absolutely refuse to discuss politics with anyone during an election year and with very very very few people whom I can trust any other time.

It's ridiculous. What happened to loving each other no matter what? It's soooo sad when people find out I'm Catholic and have absolutely no issue or judgment against them for believing differently. It shouldn't be like that.

aye it is pretty shocking and it's usually the people who would describe themselves as liberal who are intolerant of people who are not liberal. Scotland used to have a terrible sectarian problem between protestants and catholics, it can still get pretty hairy sometimes people are attacked and occasionally killled for it.
