"I walk for my health, but I also do it so everyone will know exactly what sexy looks like."

I just snarfed strawberry juice. It looks like a bloodbath around here now.

I love this, and how you captured using music as motivation but also the magic of making your own soundtrack while moving in the world.

If I were to rewrite this (and I had intended this to be the first draft - long story), I would have built it around Skateaway by Dire Straits - a song essentially around the theme of creating a soundtrack to your world. Alas, time ran out. Time runs faster than I do. I guess it always will.

First, congratulations on your running! Second, I love the idea of measuring your runs by the number of songs. Life (and especially yard work) would be so much more boring without an iPod. There's nothing like having a soundtrack for your chores.

I also use number of songs to measure tedious wait times. How long before the doctor saw me? Six songs. Can you believe it?

I can totally relate to this with aerobics / Zumba. If the music charges me just right, 2 hours is nuthin'. I keep time by my playlist and not my phone/ watch.

Yeah, that "just one more song" thing is helping me out big time, though I also have to remember if my body is saying "No, we're done," I should listen to it. :D

I run to "Hustlin'" by Rick Ross. Or well I shuffle at a 3.0 pace on the treadmill. I love the idea of measuring experience by song length.

That is an excellent piece of running music. or Shuffling music. Pace is less important than distance (work = weight over distance). While there is a mild benefit to pace, the actual distance matters more. At least that's how it was explained to me. :D

I don't have an ipod or mp3-thingie, and I don't run or walk, but your entry this week surely makes me want to.

I'm going to finish reading, commenting, and voting, and then I am coming back to listen to your music. 🙌

Its kind of an eclectic mix, in least in terms of song lengths.
