Depression is so freaking sneaky. I'm glad you've found good (and cool) tools to keep it at bay.

I love Metafilter. It's the first place I check when I wake up and often the last place I check before going to bed. I've learned so much about the world from the users (even more than from the links sometimes). Everyone is generally so patient and articulate about their areas of passion. It's like always having a panel of experts on hand.

I had no idea you were a Mefite as well! Hurray! You may be the first I've met in the wild.
