Part time: Congratulations! This is great news!!

AI: I love Vonzell. I am soooooooo happy Constantine is gone. He is creepy to me.

Cat: Yes, get one. You will live longer.

"The manchego smelled like an ear infection our upstairs neighbor's cat had recently." ... of course, I read this as I am eating cheese at my desk... barf and double barf.

Constantine has this cheeseball air about him. Not in a Mickey Mouse club kind of way (which I can tolerate) but in a date-rapist kind of way. And he does that thing with his voice that has become so frequent in pop music...this thing I can't describe in words but hate with every inch of my being! And all that aside, he's just bad.

But Vonzell....she sang Denise Williams' "Let's Hear it for the Boy" and she even took on Chaka!!! Stole mah dang heart.

Sorry about the cheese description.

I have been telling EVERYONE that Constantine gives me a date rapist kind of vibe.... Stephen told me I should stop spreading such things, but it is true! Can't you see him looking at the mic saying "shhh... it's okay, have some more beer". AHHHHHHHHH!

Let's hear it for the boy was GREAT! And I am not saying that only because I love the song (which I do). I loved her "Best of my love" too. Awesome!

As for cheese, I'll get back on that horse... someday.

long time, no read. sounds as if things are going very well for you...

but i can't believe you hate constantine! i was soooooo upset when he left. i agree that he's kind of creepy, and i did have a weird love/hate thing for him, but he still made the show so much more exciting. i didn't think he'd win, or that he necessarily should have, but i certainly think scott should've have gotten the boot long before he did! scott hit his girlfriend with a cell phone and he's not even that talented, and he's still there. i just don't understand.

i do, however, love vonzell. i think she deserves to win, but i have a feeling she won't. she's so pretty and her voice is earth-shattering! i think it's going to come down to bo and carrie, and if it does, i'd much rather bo come out on top. haha, i don't know how this happened to me. i never really watched american idol prior to this season- i even used to made fun of people who did!

Hahaha yeah I sorta surprised myself this year too when I got into the show. It's easy to watch the early part without shame, but when you start wanting certain contestants to win, questions of taste emerge ( ... )

hahaha, it's all so true!

federov is kind of precious AT TIMES, but for the most part he drives me insane. he's very 7th heaven, if you know what i mean. i feel kind of bad for him though, what with his childhood tracheostomy...although, that kind of begs the question, is it such a good idea for him to be singing celine dion covers at the top of his lungs???

If your phone has a trusty speed dial function, please spend a few minutes (about 120 or so) and vote for Scott Savol this week and the next. It's time we champion this guy for all karaoke bar/hotel lobby singers everywhere!

Aw, but I'm too laaaazy to vote!

Besides, once Scott whipped out the Phil Colliins I abandoned any admiration I may have had initially.

SPEAKING of karaoke, is there going to be a St. Nicks bash any time soon? There should be!

Ah man! "Against All Odds" was hottt! And the Hall and Oates...with Hall and Oates in the house! That dude's a dude. And besides I have a special fondness for fellows who only know choruses.

Regarding St. Nick's, I don't see a "bash" anytime soon, but if you wanted to spend a Friday night there I'm sure you could coax us into it. I think you owe me some Dio, anyways.

Now I certainly don't mean to discount the spectacular Hall & Oates performance. But that was it for me. The rest has been pretty uninspiring. Scott should start a Hall & Oates cover band or something...

Yeah I worked a bit on the Dio! I don't know all the words yet, but I could probably wing it. I also have been itching to see if they have Thunder Island by Jay Furguson on their song list...

new brie update! hooray!

i don't know anything about computers. or macs for that matter.

but...about cats. michelle's mom found a box of two-week-old kittens last week that she is nursing at home right now. the poor babies were covered in fleas, so she took care of that, and now she's taking them to work with her every day and giving them kitty formula every 4-5 hours. i don't know when they will be up and ready for adoption, but let me know if you are interested. i think they can only keep one or two of them, and there are four all together.
just FYI.

hey thanks! I will mention it to David. I'm not sure how soon we'll be ready to adopt a cat, but I'd love to adopt a hundred immediately if I could afford it.

any idea what the kittens look like? I want to get a short hair because of my allergies...they shed less i think.

well, unfortunately, i just found out that two of them died yesterday. michelle's parents decided to keep the last two. it's all too sad.

Smelled like an EAR INFECTION? Aaah! God! I think that's the nastiest thing I've ever heard before. I don't even want to guess what that would smell like.

progger May 3 2005, 13:54:15 UTC
hahahah sorry. Yeah that's really the only description I have since it's such a distinctive odor. The ear infection is the only other comparable smell i've experienced.
